  • Driving at night is a hassle if the road in front of you isn’t as bright as day. Think of your headlights as an extension of your eyes on the road, the safety of the car, and the passenger it houses are all based on  the sight of the driver.
  • The better you see, the safer the road for you, your family, your car, and everyone around you.

  • Getting a proper light output requires you to trust in the brand of your retrofitter, trust in their skills, and experties while entrusting your safety to those said retrofitters.

  • Getting a proper light output doesn’t mean you can do this on your own, you won’t get a proper light output by ordering something you find on Lazada, Shopee, Aliexpress, or Facebook Marketplace which is usually a plug & play installation.

  • To avoid any car accidents, your headlight is required to undergo a proper leveling, and alignment, meaning to say, width, height, and load distribution will take a huge part in getting a proper light output.
  • Aside from this process, it’s a must for you to have a PROPER branded retrofit products. Stay away from products that can be found on Lazada or Shopee, those things are substandard and will just give you a headache after few months.
  • Always consider the warranty, and the credibility of the shop. Just because someone offers a retrofit for a cheaper price than what the current market demands doesn’t mean it’s a good deal.
  • You get what you pay for.
  • The green laser represents the height of the car, you cannot just aim your light output based on the height of the car, you have to consider a lot of things such as placement of the headlights, or foglights.
  • The 3000K (Super Yellow) light output you’re seeing in this picture are foglamps. Hence, it cannot be aimed the same as the headlight, it has to be lower. By aiming the foglights upward, you risk glaring cars infront of your. You can only point the highest point of your foglights on the lowest point of your headlights light ouput.
  • Headlight output must be aimed 3 to 5 inches lower than the standard height of the car, you’ll need to consider the load distribution inside the car, loading the car with 3 to 5 people will give you an inclined output, you’ll also need to consider your driving preference, like always driving downhill, or uphill. This will type or roads have a huge impact on your light output.
  • Headlights, and foglights should complement each other, it should not overpower the other specifications.
  • Width alignment also has a huge impact in having a proper light output, to maximize the light output, the cutoff should be straight across the car.
